Traffic heading for Ladywell and Catford currently has two lanes available for the whole length of Molesworth Street. Under the proposed scheme it will be channeled into one lane at this junction.

Traffic heading for Blackheath and the Tesco store under the current scheme quickly filters off the roundabout up Lewisham Rd. Under the proposed scheme it is channeled into one lane along with traffic heading for Lee High Rd.

There will be a major pedestrian crossing at Rennell St linking the Lewisham Centre with the new development and rail stations.
